Obsessive-Compulsive
Disorder

This support group provides education, advocacy and peer problem-solving for those with OCD & Anxiety. Behavioral intervention techniques and research information is shared. Meets: 7:30 pm every second Wednesday at the Evansville Vanderburgh County Library, 200 Southeast Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd.
Bipolar/Manic Depressive Disorder

Come together for discussion, sharing, and learning. This ongoing group helps individuals and their loved ones cope with the high and low emotions of bipolar disorder. Meets: 7:00 pm every first and third Wednesday at St. Mary's Hospital, 3700 Mary St., Evansville. Rehabilitation Institute Building, 3rd floor - through double doors, 1st room on left.
Anxiety Disorder
This support group helps those who suffer from anxiety, phobias, and/or panic attacks by literature and peer sharing. Meets: 7:30 pm every second Wednesday at the Evansville Vanderburgh County Library, 200 Southeast Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd.
Widow or Widower
This group provides social interaction for individuals over the age of 50 who have lost a spouse. Meets: Three times per month for breakfast, dinner, and/or a game of cards. Call MHA at (812) 426-2640 for more information on the next meeting.
Survivors of Suicide
This group is for adults who have lost a loved one to suicide. Meets: 6:30 pm every First and Third Monday at Methodist Temple, 2109 Lincoln Ave. (Entrance on Kelsey St. - Stairs/Elevators to the Left, 2nd Floor, 3rd Room on Right).
Youth Grief Support Group
Jo, Facilitator
This group provides support for youth ages 9-17 who have experienced
the death of a loved one. Group meets on the first Thursday of every
month, from 6:00pm-7:30pm. Meetings are held in the Mental Health
America office at 420 Mulberry Street, in the Welborn Conference
Center (next to the Health Department).
