Take
Action
You can help make a difference
by voicing your opinion on mental health issues to congressman
and other political officials. Advocacy has been at the
root of Mental Health America since Clifford Beers started the
organization in 1909. Whether on the local, state, or
national level, you can help make sure that mental health consumers
get the same treatment as any other person and are treated with
dignity and respect. From mental health parity to equality
in housing, contact your political leaders and let them hear
from you! Help end injustice by taking
action now. Go to the National
Mental Health America Website (their Action page).
